Access Science
Subject Coverage: Online version of the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology; includes biographies and definitions of scientific terms.


Art Abstracts
Subject Coverage: Abstracting and indexing for art publications including bulletins, periodicals, and yearbooks. 1984 to present.


Alt-Health Watch
Subject Coverage: Covers holistic healthcare and wellness, with full-text articles from 140 international proceedings, newletters and reports including Journal of Alternative & Complementary Medicine, Vegetarian Times, and Macrobiotics Today.


America: History & Life
Subject Coverage: Includes information running from 1964 to the present on articles, books, book reviews and dissertations on American and Canadian history from pre-history to the present with links to full-text articles from select journals.


ATLA Religion
Subject Coverage: Covers all religions with indexing and abstracting of articles, book reviews and essays from over 1,500 journals dealing with theological scholarship.


Britannica Online
Subject Coverage: Britannica Encyclopedia's online edition features word, question and phrase searching and index, article and subject browsing as well as a world atlas, year in review and timeline browse.


Business Source Premier
Subject Coverage: Contains periodicals ranging from Business Week, Forbes, Fortune and American Banker to journals such as Harvard Business Review, Journal of Management, and Academy of Management Review. Full text coverage begi ns in 1990 for many journals. Includes PDF images and embedded images for many of these journals. Indicative abstracts and indexing for nearly 2,130 business journals, plus coverage of The Wall Street Journal.


CINAHL
Subject Coverage: Nursing and allied health disciplines; 1200 professional journals; also healthcare books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software in nursing, audiovisuals, and book chapters. Includes publ ications from the National League for Nursing and the American Nurses' Association.


Communication & Mass Media Complete
Subject Coverage: Covering topics in communication, the mass media and related areas, CMMC provides indexing and abstracting for over 400 journals, with full-text access to over 200. The database also utilizes a powerful controlled vocabulary and offers expanded browsing.


Criminal Justice Periodicals Index
Subject Coverage: With indexing and abstracting for over 190 journals from 1981, Criminal Justice Periodicals Index covers a wide variety of topics from within the field, including corrections administration, law enforcement, social work, security, drug rehabilitation and criminal law.


CQ Researcher
Subject Coverage: Covers a wide range of topics including public policy, politics, social issues, the environment, health, education and science and technology. Online access dates back to 1991 with full-text to historical and background information, pro & con arguments, contact information and "hot topics" in current events.

Subject Coverage: Covers adult education, continuing education, library science, literacy standards, multicultural/ethnic education, and teaching methods.

Subject Coverage: Indexing and abstracting for over 260 titles, including Harvard Educational Review and Educational Theory, with full-text coverage for a number of titles dating back to 1991. Topic areas include primary, secondary and higher education as well as home schooling, adult education and special education.


ERIC
Subject Coverage: Education; information from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index
Content:Contains citation and abstract information from over 750 educational journals and related documents from the Educational Resource Information Center educational symposium report literature dating back to 1967, full text ERIC Digest records, along with references for additional information breakdown of the 16 ERIC clearinghouses.


Ethnic Newswatch
Subject Coverage: With coverage dating back to 1991 Ethnic Newswatch is an interdisciplinary full-text database of newspapers, journals and magazines of ethnic, minority and native presses. The database is searchable in English and Spanish and covers over 240 publications.


Gale Virtual Reference Library
Subject Coverage: Offers more than 85 reference sources, such as encyclopedias and almanacs, and covers a variety of subjects including art, business, government, literature, philosophy, the social sciences and history.


Genderwatch
Subject Coverage: With material dating back to 1970, Genderwatch includes abstracts and full-text of scholary journals, magazines, newspapers, newsletters, conference proceedings and reports on topics related to gender, gender roles, women's studies and family studies. Over 175 titles are covered such as Journal of Women's History and The Advocate.


General Science Abstracts
Subject Coverage: Intended for students and non-specialists, the database covers topics in astromony, biology, chemistry, earth science, health & medicine and zoology with indexing for over 265 periodicals, including titles such as Popular Science and Ecology.


GLBT Life
Subject Coverage: Described by Ebsco as "the definitive index to the world's literature regarding gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues." The database was designed not to duplicate content in Academic Search Premier. A multidisciplinary database, GLBT Life includes periodical literature, reference material, newspapers, dissertations, stautes and laws and conference proceedings.


Health Source Plus
Subject Coverage: Health topics, including the medical sciences, psychology, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine, health care law and general health. Full text for nearly 568 journals, including the British Medical Journal and The Lancet. Abstracts and indexing for over 430 general health, nutrition and professional health care publications. Also includes USP Pharmacopoeia DI: Volume II Advice for the Lay Patient. 23 health research books, essays from Clinical Reference Systems, Stedman's Medical Dictionary, and over 1,090 health-related pamphlets.


Historical Abstracts
Subject Coverage: With information on publications dating back to 1954, including journal articles, books, book reviews and dissertations, Historical Abstracts covers non–U.S. and non–Canadian History from 1450 to the present.


Historical Newspapers-The New York Times
Subject Coverage: Covers full-text and full-image articles for The New York Times dating back to 1851.


Hoover's Academic
Subject Coverage: Information on over 12 million companies, including descriptions, key numbers and officers, history, major competitors, products and operations as well as coverage of 40,000 leading business enterprises from around the world.


Humanities Abstracts
Subject Coverage: Covers philosophy, theology, dance, journalism, archeology, classical studies and more, with indexing from 1984 and abstracting from 1994 for more than 500 periodicals, with full-text access to 212 journals.


INSPEC
Subject Coverage: Abstracting and indexing to the world's scientific and technical papers in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, communications, control engineering, computing, information technology, manufacturing, production, and mechanical engineering.


LION (Literature Online)
Subject Coverage: Full-text coverage of over 350,000 works of poetry, drama and prose, including criticism and reference sources. Topics include English poetry from the 8th century to the present; fictional literary prose from 16th to early 20th centuries; and American drama from 1762 to 1860. Criticism and reference offerings such as MHRA's Annual Bibliography of English Language, The Encyclopedia of Post-Colonial Literatures in English, and The Columbia Companion to the Twentieth-Century American Short Story.


MLA International Bibliography
Subject Coverage: Dating back to 1963 the electronic bibliography contains over 1.5 million citations from journal articles, books and dissertations. Subjects covered include language and linguistics, literary theory & criticism, literature and folklore.

Subject Coverage: Multidiscplinary; Collection of electronic books covering a wide range of scholarly topics; includes many reference books.


Nursing Journals
Subject Coverage: Intended for students enrolled in academic nursing programs and researchers at health-care facilities, 280 titles are covered, such as Nurshing, Nursing Economics and Nursing Diagnosis, with full-text available for more than 270 publications.


OCLC Collection
Subject Coverage: Includes the following databases: WorldCat, ArticleFirst, OCLC Electronic Collections Online (bibliographic index), and OCLC Union Lists of Periodicals. To have your library holdings display in Open WorldCat (WorldCat information that appears in Google and Yahoo search results) your library must subscribe to WorldCat.

Subject Coverage: Database of American Psychological Association (APA) books and chapters since 1953.

Subject Coverage: Bibliographic and full-text companion to the scholarly PsycINFO database consisting of technical, annual and government reports, conference papers, newsletters, magazines, newspapers, and consumer brochures.

Subject Coverage: Covering all fields of psychology the database contains two million citations from scholarly journals, books, book chapters and dissertations from 2,000 publications.

Subject Coverage: Safari Tech Books Online features the latest technology books from the leading technology reference publishers.


SIRS Researcher
Subject Coverage: General reference full-text database covering a broad range of topics from domestic and international publications.


Social Science Abstracts
Subject Coverage: Covering fields such as anthropology, psychology, sociology, economics, gender studies, minority studies and political science with indexing back to 1983 from over 520 publications.
