  • Music Online (includes Classical Music Library, Smithsonian Global Sound, African American Song, and American Song)

    • Classical Music Library (Available independent of Music Online)
      A fully searchable database of classical recordings. Includes tens of thousands of licensed recordings that users can listen to on the Internet. The audio selections are cross-referenced to a database of supplementary reference information. Fact sheet

    • Smithsonian Global Sound (Available independent of Music Online)
      A virtual encyclopedia of the world's musical and aural traditions. The database includes more than 35,000 individual tracks of music, spoken word, and natural and human-made sounds. Fact sheet

    • African American Song
      With jazz, blues, gospel, and other forms of African American musical expression represented, African American Song brings 50,000 tracks of music to the ears of library patrons and music scholars. Fact sheet

    • American Song
      American Song is a source for American roots music and pre-1960 American popular music. It encompasses the great American musical genres including country, folk, bluegrass, Western, old time, American Indian, blues, gospel, and shape note singing—combined with powerful recordings by artists such as Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Peggy Seeger, Si Kahn, Lead Belly, Sleepy LaBeef, the New Lost City Ramblers, Otis Clay, Eddy “The Chief” Clearwater, Nanci Griffith, The Lilly Brothers, Merle Travis, and many others.     The project brings together 1,200 plays, almost a quarter of which are previously unpublished. Environment Complete contains more than 1,590,000 records from more than 1,500 domestic and international titles going back to the 1950s (including 959 active core titles) as well as more than 100 monographs.     Hospitality & Tourism Complete covers scholarly research and industry news relating to all areas of hospitality and tourism. This comprehensive database combines the records of three renowned collections: Cornell University’s former Hospitality database, Articles in Hospitality and Tourism (AHT), formerly co-produced by the Universities of Surrey and Oxford Brookes, and the Lodging, Restaurant & Tourism Index (LRTI), formerly produced by Purdue University.     PsycBOOKS, from the American Psychological Association (APA), is a database of more than 16,000 chapters in PDF from over 1,000 books published by APA and other distinguished publishers. The database includes most scholarly titles published by APA from copyright years 1953 - 2005.
